New to PC building? Chipsets, CPU names and WiFi explained. Start here →

I'm Samuel, a gamer and builder with 7 years of experience. I focus on performance, compatibility, and reliability. Ships from El Paso, TX.

The cheapest way into a new AM5 gaming PC, built for 1080p gaming.

Parts in every AM5 Entry build

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8400F (6 cores, 12 threads; no built-in graphics) with an Arctic Freezer 36 air cooler
  • Memory: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR5-6000
  • Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD (Patriot P300 or equivalent)
  • Power supply: 850W 80+ Gold
  • Case: Montech XR airflow mid-tower

Choose your graphics card

  • Intel Arc B570 10GB: best value for 1080p
  • AMD Radeon RX 7600 8GB: 1080p high settings
  • NVIDIA RTX 5060 8GB: the fastest of the three at 1080p, with DLSS

Choose your motherboard (WiFi stated on each)

  • A620 – no WiFi: Gigabyte A620M S2H (wired Ethernet only)
  • A620 + WiFi: Gigabyte A620M Gaming X AX (WiFi 6 + Bluetooth)
  • B840 – no WiFi: MSI PRO B840M-B (wired Ethernet only)
  • B840 + WiFi: Gigabyte B840M Gaming Plus WiFi6E (WiFi 6E + Bluetooth)

A620 and B840 boards don't support CPU overclocking, so these builds aren't overclock-ready. They're the lowest-cost way onto AM5, and you can drop in a newer AMD CPU later (check the board's CPU support list; I install the latest BIOS before shipping).

Pricing

Shared parts $635 + board + graphics card + $300 build fee (a lower fee for the lowest-cost builds; includes free shipping in the lower 48). Totals run from $1,320 (Arc B570, A620 no WiFi) to $1,475 (RTX 5060, B840 + WiFi). RAM and SSD prices are rising; if a part costs more when you order, I confirm the new total before buying anything.

How ordering works

  1. Choose your options, lighting and operating system on this page. Add your case color or any requests in the order notes (the “Special instructions” box in your cart).
  2. I send you the parts list and exact final total for approval. Nothing is bought until you approve.
  3. If a part's price changes before you approve, I send an invoice for the difference or refund it. If you don't approve the parts list, your order is canceled and fully refunded.
